Buggy bag

February 16, 2008

The bag arrived from Buggybags today. It takes a 5.5m, 3m and 1.5m (in a rucksack) with space for extra lines and various other bits and pieces. There are a couple of velcro’d pockets inside for phone and keys. I could probably have got a small harness in there too if the 1.5 Bullet had been in a stuff sack instead of its rucksack

It fits onto the frame in seconds. In fact, it’s harder to remove than put on because of the thick velcro straps. The stitching looks pretty solid and the stake holder is a tight fit so it should hold a golfball stake quite securely.

The wind over in Dunorlan was blowing a fairly steady 9mph so I thought I’d better have a try with the Oxi2. I still experienced quite a lot of lift and not a lot of pull. It works really well upwind  traveling left to right, but I think this might be down to my technique. Maybe I’m not aggressive enough with it.
